A 'Funky Footwear' day was held on Friday 25th September to raise money for the Kent Air Ambulance.
Pupils and staff alike paid a minimum donation of £1 for the priviledge of wearing their funkiest footwear, and raised over £220.
Kent Air Ambulance is the school's charity of the year. For more information, visit www.kentairambulance.co.uk

A Pupil from Year 4 provides an account of the day:
On Friday we had a Funky Footwear Day to raise money for the Kent Air Ambulance. We had a competition and I liked Kian’s and Jack’s shoes.
We need to raise a lot of money because it costs thousands of pounds to keep the Kent Air Ambulance going for just one day. If you brought in one pound you could get a pencil with a model of the air ambulance helicopter on the top and a badge.
