An Under 11s team of Hilden Grange fencers won a silver medal in the British Schools Team Championship on Sunday 3 May.
The team competed against four other teams, winning three matches with ease and losing to the eventual winners by just one point.
Mollie Heslip, Fencing Coach commented: “The team represented the school extremely well with excellent conduct and sportsmanship. Although some of their opponents had much more competition experience, they showed themselves to be very confident and they were recognised by referees for their positive approach to difficult fights.”
